I just wish you could: 1. Make your own molecules. 2. Have some way to tell which elements are which. Other than that its great.

Great app. Only wish it had a depth view that added a simple atmospheric effect to more easily view dense clusters (things further away get cloudier/more localized to color of BG). Thats being very picky. Still a great app.
Ok app,but limited.Would be cool to add electrons and actual atoms
This app used to be great, and very useful for my high school chem class. Now its pretty much worthless. Type in "water" and you get about 10 obscure chemicals but NOT water! What happened?
Together since 2007
me too the one i looked for some of the downloads of the molecules were not show up on the display not useful.
I agree, you must add basic molecules like water and octane
^^^
An update for the iPhone 5 would be nice!
At first I thought it was an application that described molecules, but it turned out to be a 3d concept of some molecules. Nice surprise though. Very well done app! Could be more to it though.
Still not fixed as of June, 2013. It cannot even use files previously saved via iTunes! Anyone have a viable replacement to suggest? This worked great on the iPad 2 two months ago. The PubChem access is awful: e.g., ethanol is there, but this app cannot even find it! Finding simple substances like water, methane, ammonia, formaldehyde, hexane, ethanol, and so on worked great before. Now they either do not show up at all or are hidden as bizarre numbers that make no sense even to a chemist. And you cannot even add the common name if you get lucky and find the molecule you want. As a chemist, I am very disappointed with this serious decline in capability. I will be looking for a substitute. Please fix this screwup! Almost worthless now. Please fix the blunders and make this usable again!
Could use a more easily accessible key, and requires iPhone 5 optimization.
Running on an iPad 3 has been not great. When searching for a molecule it will only show the search results that fit on the screen, and when I try to scroll down there are never (literally) any ore results. I know that my searches have not been that narrow. I have searched for very general items on purpose and still received only one page of results. Please fix this soon as I rely on this app to teach my classes. Thanks!
It is an app with great potential… Some things to consider: --optimized screen for iPhone 5? --chemical formulas? --color key for the molecules?
The 3d viewer is nice but there are only a few obscure molecules available. Basically a useless app with out a bigger library.
Great app but will it ever be updated?
Most of my search came corrupted file or incompatible. Nice idea, but is crap
No iOS 7 support and no iPhone 5 support. Cool app but it doesnt fit in with my iPhone 5 running iOS7. Please update!
I cant get it to just download a PDB file from a link?! iMoleBuilder to the rescue, instead.
I cannot find any common chemical that I am looking for and I cannot create my own chemicals. Worthless.
